This event is for anyone who loves Bachata! We are hosting classes in both Urban and Sensual Bachata for absolute beginners all the way to more experienced intermediate levels. Instructors from Milwaukee and Chicago will be teaching. Latin night parties also included on both Saturday and Sunday.

This event is all about investing into Bachata social dancing and provide a weekend where all levels can feel more confident dancing Bachata.

Levels/ Track Options for Classes:

Absolute Beginner - for those with no Bachata experience

Main Track - for those who have been dancing Bachata for 3 months or more

Intermediate Track - for those dancing Bachata for 9 months or more

Beginner Pass Options: includes 4 hours of classes and entrance to both of our Latin nights on Saturday & Sunday

Solo Ticket: $80

GUIDELINES

-The workshops are 50 minutes long each.

-Arrive 10-15 minutes early for our staff to properly sign you in.

-Doors will close 5 minutes after start time, no late arrivals allowed after the 5 minutes window.

All attendees must pre-register online, no at-the-door sales.

Workshops ticket transfers may be made to anyone anytime before April 15th 2024. A $20 fee is due upon ticket transfer request.

Credits unused will not roll over to another class, workshop or event.

Esme’s Bio:

Bachata singer-songwriter Esme (Elmer Abreu Suriel) fuses the music of his Dominican land with the colors of New York to create his own sound. Originally from Constanza, Dominican Republic, ESME immigrated to Queens, New York at age 8. The multicultural atmosphere of his new home influenced ESME's musical tastes and production. Spanish-language artists such as Julio Iglesias, Ricardo Arjona, Juan Gabriel, and American pop stars Bruno Mars and The Weekend shaped ESME's own music. He brings these influences to his first bachata album. ESME's unique sound along with his edgier lyrics, mark a new direction for modern bachata. ESME is a multi-talented artist who knows the value of hard work. When he was young, heworked in places as varied as a laundromat, pizzeria, and shoe store to help his single mother care for him and his siblings, and pay for study time. At the same time, Esme took every opportunity to learn about the music industry. This helped him stay independent and tour around the world, with over 60 concerts in 2019. ESME, who has been writing songs since the fifth grade, brings this same energy and work ethic to his music career. In 2021, Esme started his own record label, Los Elegido Music, inc. which he is planning to use to help develop the new generation of bachata. The first album to be released by his record label will be called, Sangre Nueva, in which he intends to do the impossible, uniting 16 Bachata artists in one album. Esme’s momentum has already led him to a strong social media presence. he has a stream count of more than 11 million on Spotify and more than 25 million views on YouTube.

- No previous experience is necessary - we'll teach you everything you need to know
- bring a water bottle & non-street shoes to dance in (don't wear the same shoes you wear outdoors)
